Diana Saykali Saab, MEA Strategic Sourcing Lead for Marketing and Sales, Mars GCC

Diana is a Certified Procurement & Supply Chain Professional. She has worked in Lebanon for the leading FMCGs in their industries- Procter & Gamble & British American Tobacco. Later on, Diana moved to Dubai, and worked for two of the renowned tech startups in the region, establishing their procurement department noon.com and heading the procurement department for careem.com.
Currently, Diana is working in Dubai as the MEA Strategic Sourcing Lead for Marketing and Sales at Mars, where she is responsible for establishing strategies for all marketing categories, and for Mars Distributors (more than 50 distributors) across the region, this distributors project is one of its kind, as they for the first time ever indirect procurement team is heavily involved in managing distributors relationships, improving governance, and negotiating business deals.

Himani Kanwal, Med tech Director Supply Chain- Middle East, Johnson & Johnson Middle East

Himani is a Supply Chain Professional with 20+ years of achievement and demonstrated success across all functions of the supply chain – supply planning, manufacturing, Logistics & procurement in the Lubricants, FMCG & Healthcare industry. Himani is a pragmatic and decisive leader, proficient in developing a vision and building strategy with a deep understanding of business processes, stakeholders and inter-dependencies. 

Sandeep Sharma, Director Group Procurement & International Markets Supply Chain, Alamar Foods – Dominos Pizza

Sandeep has experience with Customer Service Logistics with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. He also is professionally skilled in Operations Management, Management, Warehouse Operations, Management Information Systems (MIS), and Business Development.

Shashi Kiran, Group General Manager, Jashanmal National Company

Shashi is a passionate business leader, with a focus on designing & implementing business strategies, establishing policies, and technological progression, overseeing supply chain domains across global organizations and embracing full Profit & Loss accountabilities whilst continuing to build a global logistics network to support international expansion and enhance customer engagement. Over 25 years of Gulf experience with SCM network design, automation, driving operational excellence, and lean initiatives with large retailers & 3rd party logistics service providers.

Currently working with Jashanmal group as Group General Manager, Supply chain, Heading the group’s supply chain across the Middle East including eCommerce. Additionally, responsible for managing OCS International Courier & freight forwarding, business for UAE & Bahrain.

Praveen Khare, Vice president Retail logistics & Fulfilment, Noon

With over two decades of experience in the Gulf and India, Praveen Khare is expert in Last-mile delivery and fulfilment, International logistics, Warehouse management. His forte is enabling the organization in setting up the department from scratch— building the team, the vendor base, and software selection. He has also been instrumental in organizational restructuring. His core strength lies in strategizing and execution and achieves this through motivational team management. He has always managed businesses and departments with large spends and budgets. He has planned and implemented major infrastructure projects for Distribution Centers and WMS implementation. He has managed a variety of verticals, including Fashion, Food Distribution, Furniture, and private label sourcing. Through the years, he has developed a robust industry network and contacts. He has received the E-comm Transformation Leader of the Year 2022 award from the ISCM Forums.

Manjeet Singh Chhabra, Managing Director, CRIF Gulf 

Manjeet Singh Chhabra is the driving force behind CRIF Gulf and CRIF Egypt Information Technologies. He is the Managing Director of CRIF Gulf and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CRIF Egypt Information Technology; both these companies are part of the world’s leading risk management and business solutions provider CRIF S.P.A and are members of the Dun & Bradstreet worldwide network.
Since 2010 Manjeet has been a force multiplier at CRIF bringing best practices and high-quality business reporting standards to the region. During his stewardship, CRIF has seen rapid success in the middle east region, doubling revenues every three years. CRIF built world-class data assets for the emerging markets and launched scores of region-specific Risk and Compliance products. Manjeet also played a vital role in forging a partnership with UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization to launch Taqyeem services. With a team of 200 strong and a footprint across UAE and Egypt, CRIF Gulf today supports an impressive list of over 500 clients ranging from banks, government institutions, and SMEs.
Prior to CRIF Dun & Bradstreet, Manjeet was the Managing Director at Columbus A/S. A true entrepreneur at heart, Manjeet started his career with Reliance Industries in 1993 and moved to the UAE in 1999 to take up senior business development roles.

Dr. Hanaa Gomaa, Cluster Head of SC and MENAP Transformation Lead, Mondelez International

Dr. Hanaa has over 20 years global Leadership experience in Designing end to end supply chain Strategies, Modeling, Digitization and Transformation including order to cash, logistics, distribution, S&OP / Integrated Business Planning, Procurement, and Vendor Management. She led multiple multinational teams to optimize end to end costs, integrate E2E planning, improve supply chain utilization by redesigning supply chain processes and Implement Front and Back End Integrated Solutions. She had also held senior leadership roles in multiple supply chain industries such as FMCG, Pharma, Medical Devices, Energy, Oil&Gas, and IT. Dr. Hanaa delivered multiple consultation projects, and in house workshops in UK, Canada, Japan, China, Egypt, and the GCC. Currently Dr. Hanaa holds the head of Supply Chain Middle East, North Africa GM & Pakistan (CS&L) based in Dubai, working with the managing Director of the cluster to manage E2E planning, logistics, customer service, procurement, and customer logistics with different nationalities teams located in more than 5 countries and managing a revenue of $800 million, across all categories.

Chamath Nawaratne, Vice President & Chief Procurement officer – Middle east & Africa, Air Liquide 

Chamath Nawaratne has 28 years of experience and have held various management roles in Supply chain , General management and Finance with expensive global experience. Extensive experience in Oil & Gas business.  

Abhijoy Dasgupta, Head of Supply Chain, Savola Foods GFI 

Abhijoy is a performance-driven procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management professional with more than 14+ years of success supporting the cost-effective and quality delivery of products across diverse multinational organizations while championing the benefits of modern procurement strategies as a growth driver for FMCG. He is accustomed to driving supply chain performance measures for value chain enhancement, inventory reduction, stock turns, and cost improvement. 

Krishna Moorthy, Head – Logistics, Pan Emirates Home Furnishings 

Krishna is an experienced Logistics Professional with >20 years of experience in the Logistics domain, with my current role being Head – Logistics for a leading Furniture Retailer headquartered in UAE. His earlier roles in this region have been –  managing the entire operations of CDC for one of the Leading Retailer of this region – Landmark Group (all brands) located in JAFZA for almost 9 years then and went on to manage end to end Logistics Operations & last mile plus fulfillment for Home Centre for UAE which involved Retail, Online & B2B as Deputy General Manager – Logistics. Last assignment in India was as Country Program Manager for DHL India managing 13 key Logistics customers for DHL reporting into their Asia Pacific Office in Singapore.

Rajkumar Adhya, Supply Chain and Operations Director, AstraZeneca

Raj is a dynamic and accomplished Senior Supply Chain and Commercial Operation Leader. He has been working with international blue-chip MNCs spanning across complete spectrum of Demand and Supply value chain. He has worked in multiple geographies and industries. This has helped him gain leadership of supply chain and commercial aspects helping meet customer and business needs.
Presently as Director Supply Chain and Market Access Projects at AstraZeneca EMEA, he is leading AZ’s strategy to enable new Supply chain set up to drive next level growth in key emerging Middle East and Asia markets. Earlier roles involved establishing Strategic Sales and Operations planning (S&OP) improving Customer Service, Product availability, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Optimization and Supply Chain Digitization.

Aslam Al Labeeb, Head of Supply Chain & IT, Gulf International LLC

Aslam is a multi-disciplined professional having been assigned multi-dimensional tasks over a career spanning 29 years out of which last 25 years have been with Gulf International. He is currently Department Head for Supply Chain & IT. He has in the past implemented SAP and recently been instrumental in conceptualizing and leading effective completion of WMS and made it possible to go live in 6-months record time. Beyond his job role, he is leading Gulf International automation process to bring in greater efficiencies to help us better serve our Brand & Trade Partners. His interpersonal skills facilitate people management to work towards a common goal.

Dr. Balan Sundarakani, Associate Professor, University of Wollongong Dubai

Dr. Sundarakani is an Associate Professor and Program Director for Master of Science in Logistics in the Faculty of Business and Management at the University of Wollongong (Australia) in Dubai. Previously he was working as an Assistant Professor with Univ. of Wollongong from May 2009 till Aug 2011. He has 21 years of teaching and research experience in the area of Supply Chain Management across the various universities including the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, Hindustan University, Chennai and the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore and the Chair of Logistics Management in Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland.
